Transportation Options

  • We always look forward to meeting our puppy clients in person! We will provide specific directions on how to get to our place, and we ask that you please send us a text just as you’re passing Idaho Falls or about 10 minutes away, so we can watch for you!

    Please note that we do not have restroom facilities available for you here. There is a small convenience store just off the exit of I-15 that has restroom facilities.

    Flying In? We can meet you at our local airport in Idaho Falls, Idaho Regional Airport (IDA). We are located just 10 minutes away. IDA currently hosts United, Delta, American, Alaska, and Allegiant Airlines.

  • If you choose to move forward with ground transportation, we can contact one of our trusted ground transporters to assist in planning the delivery of your puppy to your area. Your location does determine pricing and scheduling. The Charge generally ranges between $200 and $800 depending on your location. Please Contact Us for a Price Quote!

    The ground transport charge covers the following services:
    Ground transporter fee
    Final thorough vet exam & health certificate for your new puppy

    Rabies vaccination, if your puppy is over 12 weeks of age

    If you meet one of our smaller ground transporters, we will ask that you find a suitable public meeting place that is relatively close to your home, but will also allow easy access off the freeway, please. As soon as you have that location figured out, please let us know the name of the location and address and we'll put it with the travel notes.

  • We work with experienced flight transporters (puppy nanny) who safely hand-carry your puppy with them on the flight, giving them one-on-one care and attention!

    They travel with your puppy on a “stand-by” basis (not a purchased, confirmed ticket) from our airport (IDA) to the closest international airport located to you. Because they they carefully pre-plan the route that will, #1, be the most-direct flight to you with your new puppy, and #2, has the best chance of them being able to secure a “stand-by” ticket on that planned route, their schedule is usually pretty accurate. However, on occasion, a flight won’t have any available “stand-by” seats available, necessitating an alternate flight plan to continue their travel to you with your puppy.

    As soon as they have a travel plan, we will contact you to ensure that plan will work for you. If so, they do require a non-refundable deposit of $200, which will be applied to their fee in order to officially secure that plan on their schedule.

    Currently, the flight transporter’s fee is about $775-$1,075, depending on your proximity to Idaho. This fee is all-inclusive and includes:‍ ‍
    1. Flight transporter time and their airline travel fees;
    2. Airline fees for a pet traveling “in-cabin”;
    3. Veterinarian fee for a USDA health certificate, which is required for your puppy’s travel. A rabies vaccination is also required in Idaho for all puppies over 12 weeks of age.

    We are unable to choose a delivery date and there needs to be flexibility with your schedule when working with a flight transporter.

    NOTE: A confirmed ticket travel plan is optional, if you prefer. However, bear in mind their fee will be more expensive.
