Skittles is very youthful at just five years old, and has a long life ahead of her! We bought her from a breeder friend of ours and she has been one of our favorites around here. The only reason we want to retire her early is because she has had some irregular heat cycles. She’s had three litters with us, and each of her puppies has shared the same bright & bubbly temperament that she does with an extra measure of friendliness and intelligence. Some of her babies have even gone on to become service animals for their new owners.
Whether in another breeding program or in a pet/companion home, Skittles is sure to succeed and have a long and happy life ahead of her. She would excel in a home with children and has been around a toddler before. She has a sweet and happy attitude and loves to play. Her favorite game is “hide and seek,” when we say her name she jumps out and says hello. She is super sweet and likes to stick by her people. She’s pretty confident, spunky, and eager to please. She knows a potty pad, knows to potty outside and kennel up at night, but also can make an excellent bed buddy. She would do amazing in a home with a yard where she can run and play fetch.
